My response to this brief was to create a short animation that explained the benefits of our medical vans in a fun, eye-catching way. Using a variety of stock graphics that I combined and edited to compose the layout, I created the animation using Adobe After Effects. I really wanted the animation to feel multi-dimensional and not static so there are different layers of the animation moving at different speeds throughout, such as the background, the main van, and then the bird in the foreground, sort of like a parallax scrolling effect.

Our exhibition area did not feature a TV so this animation would be displayed on a tablet, therefore I needed to ensure the video could not be interrupted by people touching the screen. I researched the best way to do this and found an app. I tested this out and then gave instructions to the exhibition team so they could set it up on the day. Additionally i found a tablet stand that we could brand up and designed the artwork to tie in with our other exhibition elements.

I think the project successfully hit the brief. It was a fun talking point for visitors to our exhibition stand and gave a quick introduction to the medical vans services, after which the visitors would enquire more about with our team.

Due to the success at the exhibition, the animation was also used on the website and in email marketing to attract new leads.
