Anniversary Experience

Overview:
To celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary, two special dinner events were planned for loyalty guests. I volunteered to develop the creative approach, exploring how we could bring the brand’s history into the room and create memorable experiences beyond the usual event collateral.

I proactively developed and presented a series of ideas to stakeholders, combining environmental graphics, storytelling and interactive elements to encourage guests to share their travel memories and aspirations. I also researched suitable materials and print finishes, gathered supplier quotes and developed a detailed proposal outlining how the ideas could be brought to life.

Result:
All of my proposed ideas were approved and are currently in production for both events. I’ll also be attending one of the events to help oversee the installation of the creative elements.

Bringing 40 Years to Life
The main focus of the event is a series of six large museum-style panels celebrating key milestones from the company’s 40-year history. Designed to be positioned around the room, they create a visual journey through the brand’s story and give guests something to explore throughout the evening.

I also developed a large branded photo backdrop to create a special arrival moment, giving guests the opportunity to have their photograph taken with a glass of champagne.

Designing with Purpose
To make the experience more personal, I designed memory postcards inviting guests to share a favourite moment from their travels with us. These could then provide authentic customer stories for future marketing, with guests credited for their contributions.

I also designed an interactive travel map where guests could mark destinations they’d already visited and places they’d like to explore next. Alongside encouraging conversation, the activity was designed to capture useful insights that could help inform future campaigns.

The Finishing Touches
Alongside the larger installations, I designed the supporting event collateral, including menus, seating plans, place cards and table names, ensuring everything felt consistent and considered across the guest experience.
